Well, has a contest kayfedewa.deviantart.com/journ… and I decided to try entering.
This is a scene from the comic, taking place shortly after the Black Bloods are exiled. Swift is still feeling bad about what happened. Blood isn't much help.

I feel like this thing is pretty horrible. I hadn't realized how much time it took to draw those markings. It really made me respect the artist for being able to consistently draw the markings.

I stole all the colors from a page of the comic, found here. The comic is really cool and I think it's going to reboot soon. Go check it out.

I used a few cloud brushes for the mist and a few star brushes. simen91.deviantart.com/art/Sta… I don't recall which cloud brushes I used.
