Because I can :I from a rp between me and :devXephna :I can't decide on a name for the kid, so I'm just going to refer to him as Orion.
The red-clad child tugged at his father's tunic gently, the boy's emerald eyes shining. "Daddy, can I come with you?" He asked excitedly. The boy's father was the hero of Hyrule, and he always went on adventures. Orion always wanted to accompany his father on these adventures, but he was never allowed to go. Much to Orion's disappointment, his father shook his head "No son...it's to dangerous out there. But, I promise, as soon as you're old enough to hold your own out there, I'll take you with me." And with that, the hero left. Orion sighed softly "I never get to go anywhere." He muttered to himself, turning to see his other father standing behind him. Leon knelt down in front of his son, giving him a soft smile "I know how you feel, Orion. When I was your age, my father never let me go anywhere either. Son, Link loves you. We both do. We won't let you go with him because it's very dangerous out there. All we want is to protect you." Leon said gently, removing his son's hat and ruffling his hair playfully "Tell you what. How about I teach you everything about swordplay that I know, and when Link comes home, I'll talk him into teaching you some of what he knows. Deal?" He asked, tilting his head and smiling at his son. Orion's eyes lit up "Okay!" He said excitedly, running upstairs to fetch the wooden sword that Leon had made for him.
