Description
A piece for for Xmas. Reason why it, along with other pieces, wasn't thrown up then was because she got a physical copy.
Lately, I had been pretty sick. Bad cold, flu, bronchitis... Something. Gob, bless her heart, sent me Conquerer of Shambala to watch as a get-well-soon. This also allowed her to finally share this fantastic crossover theory she had with something we both enjoy, but I'll let her tell that one.
However, I had once thought of crossing something else over with the other thing, and given the time periods, and Ed's interest in rockets... 
Yes, the background is actually from the Rocketeer. Plus a chair and box.
Tried a new, looser (yes, you can see some brushstrokes!) style, also incorporating what I had learned about linework from "Toy." And remembering how much I hate doing backgrounds.
I couldn't get a clear answer (Google-image-wise) as to whether Ed wore very dark greens or grays and blacks, so I just picked one.Full Metal Alchemist and Edward Elric property of Funimation and Aniplex, Rocketeer property of Disney.

the painting is great but missing something... i got it! its missing the piece of chewed gum that was put on the rocket so that it didnt explode! great job though!

That movie was the kickin'est. I tried to see it in theatres but they were all "oh we are closing at nine" and I said "but your website says you are showing it at nine thirty" then they were like "yeah but we're closing at nine so take a hike you anime nerds, maybe we will show it tomorrow" and then I came back tomorrow and they still weren't showing it... Anyway, the art is fab. With the metal detailing, and all.
