Edward Nashton, also known as Edward Nigma was a police hacker desperate to rid Gotham of corruption. The appearance of Batman prompted Edward to become a crime fighter himself under the nickname Riddler. Using his brilliant intelligence and hacking skills, he intended to make public the secret personal data of corrupt individuals of Gotham, but Batman thwarted his plans. Now Riddler considers the Dark Knight to be just as corrupt and wants to reveal his identity to the whole world.
