Dick Grayson is a young aerialist who performed in a circus with his family. One day, on the orders of an unknown mobster, the last performance of the Flying Graysons was sabotaged as part of an extortion threat against the circus owner, which led to the death of Dick's parents. Bruce Wayne decides to adopt the orphaned boy, but Dick himself escapes to find the murderer of his parents. Seeing the potential in the boy, Bruce decides to dedicate him to his secret fight against crime. Now Dick Grayson is Batman's loyal sidekick - Robin, the Boy Wonder.
