As much as I hate spiders, I'm surprized I had the nerve to approach this one so closely. I didn't manipulate it at all, which surprizes me because I actually am content with the colors for a change.Please full view for detail.

great palette, textures, lighting and focus in this shot!
the very simple/universal formal & aesthetical language that is spoken through this image are what make this image exciting to me. the spider is creepy, for sure - however, i feel that this shot would be just as successful without it. that is when you know you are doing something very right.
