Description
This is Dexter Grif, my favorite character on the popular web series Red vs. Blue. My second favorite is Caboose, of course. Anyway, I posted a copy of this on Geoff Ramsey's page at RoosterTeeth.com, so I hope he comments back about it, I worked uber hard on this.EDIT: I got an award from Geoff for this! OMG!!! -dies of happy-

This is great! Also, I've always followed a not very well known or used headcannon that Grif has a high metabolism, so the fact he's not totally fat in this makes it even better. I also like the blond hair and the incorporation of Simmons' paler skin and what not. Great job.

You drew the Assault Rifle pretty well! And I always imagined Grif being a little chubbier... On account of all the HoHos he eats.

I just imagine him as unhealthy with a touch of pudge, hence being able to hide the little flub with the armor. lol And the assault rifle... I cheated. I photoshopped one in and put poster edges filter on it. I'm a cheater. I can't help but imagine Grif as good looking. Maybe it's because I am a crazy fangirl and they're all really hot in my head.

BAD RecoveryThree BAD! You don't cheat on the Blue vs Red guys! You work until your fingers are sore from all the effort then you look at the finished product and say to yourself "I did all of this!" Oh and don't forget that when you are doing Simmons, he is part robotic.

Yes, got that. I'm actually doing a Grimmons piece and I can't get the damned robot parts to look right. I'm debating weather or not to use Long John Silver (Treasure Planet) as inspiration for his robot goodness.
I have no time to spend on every bit of detail for this, hence the cheating. I've got full days of work as a tattoo apprentice to go thru before my extra-curricular art, so I think a little bit of cheating is okay. XD

griff is actually on the heavy side if you listen closey to how they talk they just cant have him look like it in the videos cuz of the game mechanincs
