I'll let myself fall apart for the day,pull out all my hair,
let my makeup smear my face,
but I'll be back for tomorrow,
even if it kills me inside,
stay in the flooding zone,
Even when its high tide,
I'll wait a walking distance,
brush my footprints all away,
I'll save my pretty side for you,
just wait another day.

Iβm not sure how old you are, but I think you are mature beyond your years. You are a very clever person.
Itβs an insightful, thoughtful poem and the girl in the portrait is very pretty, but there are many portraits of βpretty girlsβ. However, this picture has captured a sadness, an intelligence, an understanding, in her eyes. There is something more to it than just a pretty face. It holds your attention. I think this is a βrealβ portrait. I keep staring at it to understand what is going on in her head.
I think you are, (or will be) an artist/photographer/writer.

As of yet I can't say I could consider myself as an artist/photographer/writer, being only 13 and having yet to understand how to live by the immense pressure but self worth of such appealing jobs, but that is a challenge I would enjoy someday taking on.

I meant everything I said. Being so young (well young compared to me) doesn't mean you can't be sensitive and creative. It also doesn't matter what career path you choose because you can take your "creativeness" with you. Just don't stop making art, whether it be drawing, photography or writing. Good luck!
