Description
This is for my dad for Father's Day! I'm trying to practice the effect of glowing fur. This didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it to, but I still quite like it. I think I need to work on contrast!Related content

It's a bit of a technique, but on Corel Painter there are loads of bristly brushes, so if you can make your brush seem quite bristly then that is a start! Then my main advice would just be to practice from good HD photos, and really concentrate on the details - notice how the light hits the fur, and where the shadows appear, even in light areas of fur there are shadows. Practicing from reference is very important!
