Hulk Vs Superman.This is a classic match up! Super Strength VS Super Strength. Marvel VS DC.
I was asked to draw Hulk ripping Superman in half for this commission, but to be honest I'm not sure this fight would be so easy for the Hulk.
I have heard a few debates already over who would really win in a fight between these two. Feel free to weigh in if you are geek enough!
My opinion is that I would want one of them to win, but I think the other would prevail in the end.

ha! I thought something similar too at first, but I suppose Gamma green and Kryptonite green are very different things. Imagine a Kryptonite version of Hulk though...that would definitely smash Superman!

First off, love the pic!
Now with that out of the way, being a geek, here's my two cents.
I've always figured that if it were to be an all-out, kill-or-be-killed battle with characterizations not being a factor... Superman would win. Hulk doesn't nearly have the power at base-turn level to do anything major to Supes, while Superman has so many defensive/offensive abilities that he'd destroy Hulk.
Now, on the other hand, if their characterizations are in play, Hulk would win. While, again, Hulk as he's just transformed shouldn't have the power to hurt Superman, Superman by the same token would not do all the things he could to bring the Hulk down for fear of hurting the guy. And the longer the fight goes on, the more pissed Hulk will get and the stronger and more durable he'll become. And once Superman realizes he'll need to do more to take down the Hulk, it'll be too late.
As always, the longer the fight goes on, the better the chances are that the Hulk is going to come out on top. That's why although guys like Thor should cream the Hulk... they do the exact same thing Superman would do, which is what ultimately gives Hulk either a tie or a win.

Someone above(commentor, not god) mentioned that supermans cells deplete the more power he uses. So I guess Hulk would just have to wear him out, keep him in the dark, and then make his move once Superman is all tired and gassed out!

True. I think Superman's overall peaceful nature and the fact he's a solar battery would be his undoing against the Hulk... as if it's the daytime, it would take Hulk a decent amount of time to wear Supes down, but at night, I think the Hulk would do it 5X's faster.

Last I checked, Hulk still needs oxygen... Worst comes to worse, Supes could fly him out into space and throw him into the sun.

Yeah, amny people have mentioned the "toss him into the sun" theory. I'd love to see someone come u with a way to get Hulk out of that.

If you take it by canon of both Hulk would win. Superman has proven his power is finite and his cells do deplete the more he uses his powers continuously without respite. Hulk gets stronger the angrier he gets and never wears out. Give it enough time and hulk would be another Doomsday for the big Sguy. Sorry but the books don't lie.
Of course classic Superman pre John Byrne reboot was nigh godlike and could move the planet. He would have mopped the floor with Hulk.

People love to pull for their fav character, even in impossible scenarios. Superman is more than just strength. Also, they fought in the 90s, and Big Blue won.

Superman is too fast for Hulk to mad enough to be able to hurt him. Same reason that Doomsday (at his strongest is Jay Garrick Speeds) beats the Hulk.

Hulk can regenerate, and he gets stronger as he gets angrier. Supes may have an innicial advantage, but Mr.Green would most likely beat Supes out of pure frustration.

thanks! Yeah, its kind of obvious that Superman would win. It would be fun seing someone come up with a scenario where Hulk actually wins though. He would need to be Bruce Banner smart and Hulk strong to do it though I think. How did Hulk come back from the sun? He must have had one hell of a tan!

hulk was thrown into the sun and came back. marvel and dc did a mashup comic. hulk and superman fought. superman won. thor beat marvel man, storm beat wonderwoman, batman beat captain america and so forth.
