Phoebe Rousopoulos is a quirky young woman and perhaps the brightest-shining light amongst her family and friends; her bubbly yet empathetic personality has always been a magnet for new friends all throughout her life, and this also resulted in her brothers being very overprotective of her, though they have eased up on this in recent years. She runs a financial blog while also moonlighting as an online foot model to make a few extra bucks. Elijah Johnson has always been an unlucky person, even as a child. Though he had a loving home and family, something would always go wrong for him, whether it was his beloved Game Boy being broken, a bike that he paid for with his own money being stolen, or fumbling a critical shot against another school's basketball team resulting in a loss for his school. Even worse was the fact that he was shy and non-confrontational, making him a magnet for bullies for much of his school years. Things have gotten much better for him in the years since high school, but sometimes, fate still decides to mess with him...

Phoebe and Elijah both attended the same schools through high school, and he harbored a crush on her all throughout. However, in addition to his own shyness, the biggest obstacle Elijah faced in confessing his feelings to her was the fact that his biggest bully was in fact her older brother, Cyrus. Years later, as all parties had matured past high school, he would find himself with another opportunity with Phoebe, and much to his delight, she reciprocated. However, in due time, he would find that his childhood crush was not all that she seemed...

Phoebe and Elijah's relationship is somewhat strange. Mischievous by nature, Phoebe is known to shrink Elijah to ant-size and leave him scrambling on the floor for hours on end, despite his protests. At that size, he can do little more than get out of the way of Phoebe's feet whenever she passes through, though sometimes, he is not fast enough to avoid being stepped on. Further, Phoebe will sometimes even deliberately crush him, for little or no reason at all. However, as grisly as this is, Phoebe has the additional ability to bring thoses under the effects of her magic back to life, so she can very easily afford to be so reckless with the tiny Elijah. Elijah in turn dislikes being shrunken and especially detests being killed so often, especially as both tend to occur on Phoebe's own whims. Even when he's not being killed, he will still be made to rub and kiss her feet for as long as she deems so, much to his displeasure as he's not fond of feet, either.

Their relationship does has many upsides to it. Phoebe is also an excellent cook and knows how to best satisfy Elijah's belly with her family's Greek-styled recipes. The two spend long days out and about in the city, always finding something new to do and explore. She provides excellent financial advice when he needs it, though he sometimes follows his own gut. Elijah tends to brag to his own friends about her prowess in the bedroom, though he may be overselling this for dramatics. Phoebe's empathetic nature also provides him with emotion support when needed, which became a boon for him after the sudden death of his mother.

Despite it all, one still has to wonder just how long Elijah will be able to put up with his girlfriend's whimsical tendencies...?
