An idea from a friend... Which leaves me to wonder whether there are any more vampires who are killed by the sun around any more... All I hear about are these new modern vampires that can stand the sun... Feh.It's an Ookie-Dokie pic.

my alien vampire Dr. Redtooth doesn't like the sun o.o but that's it. It won't kill him or anything, he just hates it and goes around more at night and stuff. Also hangs upsidedown when he sleeps.

Actually the idea of vampires burning in the sun is new, and popularized by Nosferatu. In folklore vampires just avoided the sun out of avoiding detection. Not even Dracula avoided the sun, it just weakened him. In the Dracula novel, he even enjoys a day at the zoo and sneaks up behind someone when they are shaving in the morning.

It amazes me that so many people defy the laws of REAL vampires nowadays and just allow them to go out in the sun and eat normal food and whatnot. It bugs me...

Yeah... that modern vampire idea is just a little... poopy. Immortalit should come with disabvantages; for vampires, it's a lust for blood and phobias of light. Or lychs (undead necromancers) who can't interfere with the living. Things like that... but now, all the side effects are wiped clean... what a shame. No drama.

Meh... underworld made a good comeback with vampires being effected by light... but making babies?!
There's a fictional possibilty to that; that the energy they steal through blood drainage allows female vampires the capability to birth a child... but the problem with this, is that vampires are meant to be DAMNED creatures. They aren't supposed to have the opportunity to have a child, or the happiness it brings. Another flaw with this, is that Vampires are immortal; therefore, wouldn't the newly born be forever an infant?
Oh... people and their retarded ideas... 6000 year-old babies have come to suck your freakin' blood, oh no...

it's not a competition, silly. It's your genuine idea, and ideas are way better than the art itself. Trust me on this; you can make the world's crappies picture of...something currently popular, like Naruto, and at least twenty people with comment, whereas, you could make a completely original image, and... one or two people may comment because they just-so-hapened to stumble upon it while browsing for popular fan art.
