Made for for their December challenge which was to redesign a famous holiday character. And since we are in december and all I thought it fitting to recreate Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Other than his colors I pretty much kept the original story of Rudolph in mind when designing him. Ya' know... Rudolph's Dad, Donner, was one of the famous eight reindeer and as such lived close to Santa's toy factory. Behind the candycane plant to be specific. Unfortunately safety regulations back then were much more lax and unfortunately Rudolph's mother was exposed to toxic levels of radioactive peppermint runoff while carrying him. When he was born the effects of exposure had turned his fur mint green, his spots into peppermint swirls, and made his nose glow unnaturally red... Rumors circulated concerning Ms Donner's alleged infidelity. Donner, having been so humiliated by the whole thing, kept his son out of the public eye until he was forced to send him to flight school. Rudolph was mercilessly picked on by the other reindeer due to his strange looks and questionable beginnings. Then one night, after being driven from the Reindeer Games Rudolph came upon santa who was struggling to fight off an abominable snow creature who had ambushed him. The glow from Rudolph's nose so startled the monster that it retreated to the shadows it had crawled from. Santa thanked Rudolph for his heroism and for not letting the monster suck the marrow from his bones. Apparently an abominable snow creature invasion was threatening to prevent toy production and delivery for that year. That's when Santa asked rudolph to lead his sled team into the night on christmas day to fend off the abominations and allow the sled to take off. All of the other Reindeer loved rudolph after that and happily ever after the all lived. So... the classic story

Also he has wings, because flying reindeer in the real world don't get up there by farting magic out of their butts they fly goddamnit
