Nice work. Good detailing, especially the gold curlicues on the slide. Is that leather lacing around the grip just coiled there for storage, and actually functional as a dummy cord, or is it meant for grip reinforcement? If the latter, I think I'd have wrapped it wet so that it would have dried down a bit tighter.

I'll definitely try wrapping the leather wet next time. This was my first nerf gun I designed so any advice would be very helpful. Thanks
