My custom action figure of Samus Aran from Nintendo's Metroid video game series .Hand made from scratch
Sculpted in Castilene
Molded in Smooth-On silicone rubber
Casted in Smooth-On resin
Hand painted with Tamiya Acrylics
25 Points-of-Articulation
1/6 scale (12")
Close to 300 hours to complete (1st figure-30 hours each additional figure)
Only 6 made (5 sold, 1 for me

That's awesome! Nice skill to have too, You'd never have to pay any money on pre made action figures from stores, just materials.
Actually come o think of it, that might not be nearly as economical as it sounds.

Yeah, not economical unless I sell a few to make up for the cost of materials. After calculating it out, I barely broke even on this figure. Materials got covered just selling one. The other five covered the $/hr. it took to make them.

How much does it come to at the end with materials and man hours?

It's hard to say. I lost count of hours. The Original Sculpt, Mold, Cast, and Paint job took around 300 hours and around $400. Each edition after that took about 30 hours and $100.
