Rant #1, MLP bad OC's
ome people have "eye-burning, horrid, marysue, OC's. Weve all been on that tumblr. Weve seen it. WELL WHO CARES?! Its free creative license? YES? SO LET THEM MAKE WAT THEY WANT!!! The TUMBLR itself isnt bad, its the beff-headed idiots who follow the link, say shit like "LOL WHAT A BAD OC" or "MY EYES!"
SO WHAT?! let them create their own fucking OC! ITS A CARTOON SHOW FOR CHILDREN. ITS A FUCKEN SHOW WITH BRIGHT COLORED MINIATURE HORSES WHO RUN AROUND DOING CRAY-CRAY SHIT!

I honestly don't care if people make bad OCs (if it makes the creator happy, i just let them be). The only ocs that actually anger me are recolors because it's a form of art theft.

I check that tumblr every now and then and ask questions, because Citrus and the other mod are actually very awesome people who give very constructive criticism. But some of the people who follow it are just bullies and are way out of line and it is sad. o ^o
If they were a bit more constructive -- there are elements of design professional-wise that still come into play, and some people /can/ use a little tip here and there to help them grow, in my honest objective opinion -- it would be less of a problem. They argue that since the artists put their stuff on the internet, it gives them free reigns to say whatever they want, but it does /not/ entitle them to be a bully. u ^u

It's okay to CONSTRUCTIVELY criticize the ART,like if the lines are messy or they just doodled crappily on a base and try and help them out,but insulting someones pony is mean.
Yes I have thought,"Oh wow that's a bit of an eyesore" and in the past I have said about it to people but honestly,as long as they try to improve their ART(base or not) who gives a shit if the character itself has three heads.
What isn't okay is when they say that the pony self harms as a hobby.
Or anything insensitive like that.
I'm going to link this to anyone that insults someone else for a "mary-sue" pony from now on.

THANK YOU. Jesus... I hate that so much. I mean, it's cool if you don't like someone's OC, and it's ok to give them ideas, but don't get pissed if they don't change their OC. .-. If it makes them happy, let them have fun. I'm sure they didn't make it to please you. I know I've been on that stupid blog.
