Very cool! I am currently sculpting in plasticine also, but not at the skill level you are at! I am trying to make ball jointed dolls out of plasticine and then molding the pieces in plaster for a porcelain finish. I am taking a class, so hopefully I will learn how to make molds correctly and finally have some good results.

Thank you! That means so much to me! I will hopefully show results, provided I don't mess things up. I have a WIP in my gallery of a ceramic elephant head with wings for ears. He has been bisque fired and now all I have to do is either put a glaze on him or paint him in acrylics and seal him with something. It seems like it has taken me forever to finish him but I'm enjoying the process. The ball jointed dolls are a labor of love, that keeps developing as I go along. So we shall see how long it will be before I am able to show results. Sheesh...I sure am wordy today! Thank you again for your kind wish!

it's simple. I do a lot of fine hairs first and collect them into strands.
