Wonderful close up, I really like all the soft colours and the light in her eye. I think mallards are so pretty, and way too many people discount them because they're so common. They definitely deserve more!
Would you mind if I drew her? I'm teaching myself to use coloured and watercolour pencils, and I think she would be a fun challenge to draw.

i love mallards. they are so much fun to watch, especially in the spring when they are extra feisty. i have no problem with you drawing my shot, as long as you don't sell it.
