Okay, so: Upon my search for on the internet for an image of Proto Man (this was awhile ago) executing one of the coolest moves ever, sadly my results were lacking. So if the internet doesn't deliver! Do it yourself! Despite an uninspired backdrop, I figured this was just a good chance to practice with Paint Tool SAI. There, I've done a service today! I'm DONE!As far as I know, only the recent installments allowed Proto Man to do this. Not that he's playable often. In the arcade games he does a forward dash with his shield out. Equally cool, but it's not what I wanted to see.

Oh yeah he did the slide in later games right? This doodle looks great I like it. Proto Man may not be my FAVORITE, but yeah.

He did the slide in 9 and 10 when Rock couldn't. And charge shot.

He did. The shield is supposed to help but they tried to make it as limited as possible it seems. It's smaller in 9.

Ah. Ten is my favorite right next to 3. Even though I bought 9's Proto Man mode I can't even get past the first Wily stage with him. (maybe if I looked up some tips but I can hardly beat the final boss as Mega, so it's not worth the heartache)

Nine isn't so hard. I'd say it's just the final bosses that are nightmar-ish. You can buy extra difficulties for it and I speculate that Proto man mode is on a higher difficulty. Of course there is the prospect I'm just not as good with him as I thought I'd be...
