Final design and reff for my Demonsona Esava
I quite changed her a little more since her last design: [link] [link]
She is now more based of a housecat rather than a lion. (my kitty Owl was inspiration ofcourse) Her face got the structure of a oriental cat (so long face). Wings because in my imagination I always see her as a wings... and demons have wings. so yes. x3

Quite an interesting hybrid of animals to make her when it came to combining the traits, her wings though are a bit eh, is she more of a glider than a flier though? The style is nice but just the proportion of the size of them compared to the body just makes it seems that she wouldn't be able to stay airborn for long. Other than that nice design.

yeah the wings are supposed to be larger. I made them small so they would fit into the ref. I will come with an updated and better ref for her soon

Noob question; are "Demonsona's" the creative property of anybody in particular or is it a generic name given to a creature such as yours ('Chimaera'-esk)? I'd love to dabble around with something like this (different animals though) but really don't want to upset anybody by "ripping off their breed" or whatever, hehe

thanks I always try to balance my character designs. Too much markings or colours are bad and just make characters unrecognizable in my opinion. Ofcourse the creation of personality and storyline is just as important
Oh demonsona is just a random term for other than "fursona". Fursona means an animal/furry creature who represents yourself. Only I hate the term "Fursona" because people may think I am a "furry." This character is kinda my alterego. I use this char to express my feelings or emotions in artwork. And since she is suposed to be a dark demon creature I just named " demonsona". ^^

awesome design. I wish I'd be so creative with my sonas, but the only I can think about are (normal) wolfes. Though I'm over creating a mutant wolf as my fursona atm ^^
