My mom will yell at me for not helping her in the kitchen...but, at other times, I'll also get in trouble for "bothering" her if I offer her help..

My reply: See, the thing is Mum, every time I do something without to telling me to, you always get mad at me. I honestly don't know why that is. And everytime I do something, it's ALWAYS as a flaw that make you want to do it instead. So why are you always b*tching about this to me?!
