Description
So, I've dedicated myself to a challenge that I will probably never complete. I've made a spinning wheel with multiple different themes, and I will select one OC at random and draw them in 4 randomly selected themes. First up is Stogie!Fantasy:
I took a lot of inspiration from DragonQuest when it came to designing Stogie in this theme, the armour he is wearing is heavily influenced by the game itself. I also decided to give him a much more rugged look, as I felt it would fit with the armour. Overall, I'm very happy with the outcome.
Winter:
Winter was a difficult one for me, mostly because I wasn't really sure what he'd wear. In the end I decided Stogie would be a simpleton about it and just wear a coat and boots. I felt like adding a few snow particles in there too for the sake of it looking somewhat decent. Not my favourite of the four, in all honesty.
Young:
I had a lot of fun doing this one, as not only does it explain his background, but it kinda develops him as a character. I imagine Stogie being a rather "rough 'n tumble" kind of kid in his youth, prone to hurting himself and having accidents while playing, which, in the end, creates the dark patch around his left eye (the right from where you're facing) I also saw him as being rather timid in his younger age, and shy too. Drawing this one was quite a lot of fun!
Military:
This was a difficult one, mostly because I'm terrible at drawing body armour or guns and stuff like that, so I settled on the simple "private" look. If you ask me, I think it suits Stogie rather well! I felt the dog tags were also a cool touch to include, it's the small things, ya know?
