I actually just got The Stolen Throne, and surprisingly, it paints Loghain in an amazingly different light...not to mention, it really explains a lot as to why he's such a 'lovable', sad little man lol

lol I'm actually beginning to understand your situation then lol...I absolutely love Alistair and I'm a hopeless romantic, so I chose him when I finished the game the first time...I play it on the pc, so I can take Loghain, then reload and have the achievement while not losing Al in the process, but I wanna know what happens with Loghain in the party....grr lol

It's defenately worth playing with Loghain in the party. Besides you learn much about him and his motives when talking to him (try out, every answere, it's great to try insulting him, he'll just go "Is that the best insult you have?" รดo xD) plus he's totally awsome in the final battle *sniff* but also if you chose to let HIM uhm ...do the 'Ritual' with Morrigan x)
Aaaand if you downloaded it - there is some great bickering between him and Wynn in Return to Ostagar

Awe as if, I am half way through Ostagar as we speak. I am SO going to have to take him there on my next game haha Alistair and Wynne when you first get there...that's pretty funny too 'cause he always implies things even when he doesn't mean to lol
I can imagine Loghain is pretty tough, especially considering the duel with him. I had a harder time against him the last time I played that part. I'm gonna have to make an alternate game now just to go get him and have him join lol
