I did these in the summer of 08.I just scanned my sketch book and thought these would be cool to put up. There kind of my renditions of David Bowie as Jareth the Goblin King in Labyrinth.
This character is the property of Jim Henson and Brian Froud.
This is fan art.
I did these at like 8 in the morning.

Without color, he bears a resemblance to Hide from X-Japan.

David Bowie is very feminine in some shots in the Labyrinth. Hide looks too much like a girl, so I see that.

Thanks, I usually don't put sketches up but these are my favorites. Thanks about the shading, I've been working on that and about resemblance I thought they didn't look at all like him. It's something I'm trying to get better at, making people look like themselves.

You're welcome, the main resemblence I saw was the hair, not much else. I guess people always see certain resemblences in these kind of realistic drawings/portraits and it's pretty hard to get away from. :/
But anyway, keep at it.
