This is the final Rand al'Thor personal piece. The progressions of this piece are on my artist Facebook page.

Thank you so much! I see what you mean about Robbie Williams (I had to look him up). The face was sort of a machination of the faces of Rand that I had painted before and my imagination.

So beautiful....... you're amazing..... My dad was the one who originally got me into the WoT fandom, and I'm glad he recommended the books to me. Unfortunately.... I live in Virginia, and I won't be able to go to JordanCon, but...... *sigh* oh well. Maybe next time~ Hopefully by then I'll have finished the books, since I'm currently on Lord of Chaos..... But anyway.... Your art is just so beautiful and I..... would never be able to come even CLOSE to that level of detail. I don't think any words can properly describe this painting~ It's just..... gah I keep rambling... Sorry ^^"

Well I live in Maryland so I will be driving down. I completely understand that it is a long trek. It is a good idea to finish the books before going to the convention, there are a lot of spoilers. I always felt that I would never be able to be like the artists I look up to and I still have a long way to go to be like many. It's all about practice and always trying to learn new techniques. I will probably never feel like I'm like my artistic heroes but the point is to try and others may think I am.
