These are my newest made RE props. Everthing shown here i made myself, apart from the bullets which are real bullets and the STARS patch in the background. Props here are:- CV version First Aid Spray
- RE4 version First Aid Spray
- RE5 version First Aid Spray
- RE5 version herbs (green, red and mixed)
- Green Herb plant
- Ink Ribbon x2 (one in front made from a tin, one at back is an actual typewriter ink ribbon)
- Red Hawk handgun ammo box
- Ballistics magnum ammo box
- Dragonfly rifle ammo box
- Heavyfield shotgun ammo box
- Jackal TMP ammo box
- Parabellum handgun ammo box
- Steve Burnside's prison collar
Its been alot harder than i expected to find a fake plant that looks like the green herb plant. This was the closest i could find. If anyone can get a better looking one and could send it to me that would be great
All ammo boxes are from RE4/RE5 apart from Parabellum which is RE2. I have a few still to make. Had to completely remake these in photoshop as the text was all pixelly when i made the images bigger. I tried to use as accurate a font as possible and made the size and position the same. They printed out well. Also i know of the spelling error on the Jackal box saying 'cartdiges' instead of 'cartridges' The incorrect spelling is from Capcom, i noticed the error but as i go for accuracy in my props to keep mine the same as the in game version i also spelled it wrong on mine
This RE5 first aid spray is the remade version i made today. Bigger can than the last one and i remade the label slightly
Next i will be working on Steve's shirt to paint the prison writing on the back. Other things to make on my list are: G virus sample, RE4 version herbs, grenades, Leon's Silver Ghost, working on making the hydra and i want to make a prop of the Las Plagas sample but it looks quite complex to make in terms of finding the right materials and putting it all together. Will try it though

They look great. I made some for our costuming group. So far only Red Hawk. Where did you find the images for the shotgun and TMP ammo?

Thanks, got alot more now since this pic. The mixed herbs too alot of work to get them to work, everything i tried ended up mixing the two layers together by the next day. This was the only method i got to work. The green layer is liquid soap and the red layer is water with red food colouring in it. The colours do eventually discolour slightly after quite awhile and need to be replaced with a new lot

I love the ammo boxes! I had previously thought about doing something like that but you've done a much better job than I ever could.
Yeah, fake plants that look like the herbs are hard to find. I finally got something that worked pretty well (haven't posted it yet though).

Yeah i thought they'd be easy to find, its just a fake plant.. its like impossible to find anything even close to looking right. Still cant find anything. Would like to see yours when you post them

What kind of paper did you print the boxes on? They look glossy, just as they should be.
As for the herbs, for such a basic-looking plant you'd think it'd be everywhere. I used to play Sims 2 and tried to create an RE household. Nowhere, out of the zillions of plants either official or fan-created, did I find anything suitable.

I didnt make the boxes themselves, i stuck my labels onto existing boxes to about the right size i found in a shop. If i'd made them myself they'd be too flimsy. The labels themselves are just normal printer paper which i stuck sticky back plastic over to give the glossy look, finish is alot better than just paper without the covering on it
Yeah i thought so too, amazing how impossible they are to find considering its just a basic plant. I've seen some used in cosplays which look pretty good, shame i cant find whatever it was they used

Those acted as the bases. Took alot of photoshopping work to make them usable. The images i kept as were but i had to remake all the text as increasing the sizes of those images made the text all pixelled so i matched the fonts as best i could, used the screenshots to get the exact size and positioning of the text and remade them all. Apart from the few with pics on (Jackal, Heavyfield, Red Hawk and the bullets on Dragonfly) i just completely remade the rest myself

I found reasonable sized images of them on this site: [link] I measured the size of the boxes i used to stick the labels onto and in photoshop made a document that size. I used the images as bases so moved them over and sized to the size i needed. Increasing the size so much pixellates the text so i found the closest font i could to the originals used on the box and remade them all using the ammo box pic underneath as a guide to get the exact size and positioning of the text right then removed the pixelled text from the box with the clone stamp tool. Ballistics i completely remade myself, used just the image for text size, positoning and font. The others as they had pics like the bear and jackal i kept as it was and they printed out well. Just took alot of manipulating and reworking on photoshop

It took alot of experimenting to find 2 things that would sit as separate layers and not eventually end up mixing. Several times i though i had it but after a few days it had all mixed together. This combination was my last idea before i couldnt think of what else to try, luckily it worked. Did these months ago and the layers are still separate. The bottom green layer is washing up liquid and the top red layer is water coloured with red food colouring. Is all i could use to get it to work properly

Yeah i wish it was too. Least i found one combination to work though. Best solution of course is an oil layer and a water layer (which i tried by putting food colouring into the oil but after a few days the food colouring separates out again and looks a mess) As it is have to be careful not to mix it about too much as if shaken the layers will mix together, if not moved too much they will stay separate
