Hm, this screencap was actually used in the orchestrated Deep Ambition music on Youtube.
And yeah, I don't blame you at all for hating that scene, especially when how Wesker got killed off was just stupid, and more than just the fact that they just casually dropped him into a volcano. In fact, Capcom couldn't even get the chosen method of death correct either. If you're going to use something as cheap as dumping someone into a volcano, for goodness sakes, HAVE HIM LOOK LIKE HE'S BEING AFFECTED BY THE LAVA RATHER THAN JUST WADING AS IF HE WERE IN AN ORANGE-DYED JACUZZI!!! In other words, have him look like his skin and flesh are melting/burning off, sinking, all of that. In other words, have him look like Drakor from Star Fox Adventures, Anakin Skywalker in the climax of Revenge of the Sith, Riccardo Belli from Haunting Ground's climax, heck, even Bowser becoming Dry Bowser in New Super Mario Bros. when dumped into that lava pit. I mean, COME ON! He was infected by Uroboros, a mutagenic virus that's notorious for being extremely vulnerable to heat. Seriously, Code Veronica (X), which was made for the DreamCast/PlayStation, had realistic burns on Wesker when he got caught in fire late in the game, yet the PS3/Xbox 360, using a superior engine, couldn't even show even a hint at his being burned?

He can get shot, stabbed, punched, thrown out of an airplane into lava, and get stabbed by a needle with a virus in it, and still not die. I think he will be ok ^^.

I think Wesker (the awesome, cool, collected dastard we all know) died the moment he was unceremoniously thrown out of the plane.

Capcom seriously screwed up. I know they probably wanted to renew the series, and in order to do that they had to kill off the megalo-manical super-villain, but it was their fault that he became such a badass character in the first place. (in the original he was just a traitor, not the behind-the-scenes-manipulator who then turns out to be an atomic-superman created to rule the world with other atomic-supermen. =_
Okay, I'm done. No more ranting. Or caffiene either.

Yep Capcom seriously messed this one up. If it wasnt for Wesker RE5 would have sucked. I liked it up until the end where all that was ruined.. If they really HAD to kill him off they could have at least done it with a bit more dignity than that considering how important a character he is to the series. I mean a volcano? Seriously thats the best they could do? It makes no sense. Wesker deserves better than that. All i can hope is that they reconsider their decision to not bring him back. I sure wont like RE anymore if they do a complete reboot, it will ruin everything it stands for

Of course, but then again he was added to the recent film (with that mary-sue who totally fudged the series) and the new marvel vs capcom game - it has to be down to the "commercial success of Wesker" (cough *fan pressure* cough). If he managed to appear in those, then I highly doubt we have seen the last of him, if not in the next main game.
In the next RE film, Wesker better get his own back on that cow. (you cannot shotgun someone in the face, then bomb their own plane and not expect to get badly owned)

Can his eyes give anymore psychological warfare? He looks even more insane with glowing eyes and to top that off....Tentacle arms with metal, elecic shrapnel in it...
