Description

Crown Heir Cathe of the Sanctuary Kingdom, firstborn to King Valka, and sub-par older brother - to be specific, half-brother. Valka bore him young and surrendered him to the nomadic Fire-Keepers for his safety, who would raise him out of the valley, and among the experts of fire control he honed his fire-keeping skills and learned discipline, courage, and leadership. However, once grown, he'd decide to return to the valley and to his mother. Valka had risen to General of the Sanctuary Kingdom's army and bore 2 more litters since surrendering him, but nevertheless accepted Cathe upon his return, and when time came for her to ascend to Kinghood he was crowned as her first Heir.

Cathe is actually a really old OC of mine. I'd made him up for an rp as the genderbent version of my main OC, Red-eye (aka prehistoric Valka), so it's fitting that I'd made him trans. I also gave him heterochromia as a thowback to Red-eye's, tho she had red and blue eyes. Idk what his name means cus I made it up on the spot I think, but it's pronounced "KAYth"

Uhh some design notes (not like he doesn't have plenty on the sheet already): he's based a fair amount off of a tiger and his stripes+head show it the most; I made him a lot less saturated than his half-siblings to make him sort of "ashen" but also because his father is gray; it was harder to decide where his fire-stripes were going because his isn't a classic tabby, marbled, or rosetted; I associate him with gold but didn't really put that in his design anywhere; no he is not Brambleclaw but he may as well be.
