EDIT: Actually I prefer it without the BG flairs.

Not sure why I a full design reference sheet for Graystripe of all characters; this isn't some new thing I plan on doing like all those madlads who do 100 design challenges or made designs for every character in Warriors but mad respect to them. There was also a Silverstream design sketch along with this one but I'll do that one separate, along with Millie.

I like to imagine him as a grey smoke cat, but designed him with more contrast to kinda give him that back stripe he's known for, and he's got a warm palette cus he's a friendly guy. He's got Feathertail's plumy tail and I'll probably make Stormfur a smoke grey cat like him, and as for the other litter Blossomfall got his fluff and Bumblestripe got his body type and Briarlight is an anomaly idk what she got.
I put of some quick genetics for him below his name. I'm no expert so there could be some mistakes, but basically he's got a black base (carrying brown), is dilute, isn't a tabby but carries mackerel genes, has no white spotting, has one silver gene, and is born male (with no orange). I've got a big family tree for Thunderclan to make their genetics make sense, but I'll probably never post it cus it's just names and genes but ye.

Not exactly an old vs new with my old graystripe drawing on this account but it looks pretty different and imo the new one is a lot better with almost a 3 year difference.
