This is what my fursona, Red the raccoon, looks like. I just wanted to do this and show you all too.I got this picture of this coon from the video Rockoons, made from Cerberus, aka Tirrel, I think. I just took the picture, cropped some of it and posted it. And no, he did not make this for me.
I hope I won't get in trouble for doing this or violating copy righting, if not stealing art

I honestly fail to see the justification in how you can take an already conceived character from another individual, vaguely attach it with such a defined attitude to an 'original character' of yours, and then post a picture of that previously established character from that artist(s) with a half-held connection when said picture does not even belong to you.
Which, by the way, is against the practices and policies of Deviantart, where one is supposed to post their original works.

While it may not be against DA's terms if you had proof of permission for use of the character (Which you should probably prove instead of just claiming), it's still most likely against DA's policies regarding visual artistry from another artist, as well as DA's practices in general. In DeviantArt, artists are supposed to upload and share their own art, not filch someone else's for their personal use.
If you want to display your fursona around on the internet, why not *draw it yourself*, instead of using someone else's art?

Really? You seem awfully worried about it being copyright violation for someone who has proper permission.
In my experience, artists are not usually okay with people screenshotting their work, putting it on DA, and using it as a ref for their character. I would never let anyone use any of my art as a ref for their character unless I made it just for them.
Unless you have some sort of proof, I can't help be be a little skeptical. Especially as you made no mention of permission being granted to you in your description.
