Description
They stepped out into the beautiful clear night of Avalon 7. The city street was busy with activity with only a few people staring at the 8'9" amazon standing out on the street with her husband they started walking down the street holding hands. "I'm amazed, there is a war going on in the galaxy and here their acting like nothing is going on."
Westner looked up at Sonya, "Some just think the war won't come here, others are probably trying to put it out of their mind for a few hours..." He squeezed her hand smiling, "Like what we're trying to do."
The roar of a supped up car engine caught their attention as it weaved dangerously though traffic at high speed before screeching into a handicap spot a few spots from where they were standing. Westner saw the look of annoyance on his wife's face, "Maybe they are handicapped."
The man stepped out of the car adjusting his suit as a 'well endowed' bleached blond got out of the passenger side giggling. "Davie, isn't this a handicapped spot?"
The man quickly moved around the car to her, "So what?..The mayor and I are tight."
Westner noticed Sonya's expression hardened a little as 'Davie' escorted his passenger down the street. "Sonya...I know what you're thinking, let local law handle this."
Sonya nodded sighing, "It just bothers me..."
A quick double tap of a horn got their attention as an average looking car pulled up to the parked cars next to them. The window rolled down, "Look it's the dynamic duo out on the town for once!"
They both smiled, recognizing the voice and quickly moved between the cars to the window. "Paxton? They finally let you out?"
The shaved balled man in the passanger seat smiled raising his prosthetic hand in sort of a wave. The wounds on his face still bandaged in places. "Yeah, though Mac and I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the two of you pulling us out of that wreck." pointing to his driver who was clearly missing his right arm. Mac nodded, waving his good arm.
Sonya smiled though it was slightly pained, "I'm sorry we couldn't have done more...if I had gotten there sooner I might have been able to heal the two of you."
Paxton dismissed her comment with a wave of his good hand, "Don't beat yourself up over it. You two were putting the hurt on a couple of destroyers who would have finished off the APC if you two hadn't taken them out."
Sonya nodded as Westner slapped Paxton on the shoulder. "What brings you guys out?"
"We were looking for a place to get drinks but it's impossible to find a parking place."
Westner got an evil look on his face the same time Sonya did. "You guys got handicap markings?"
Mac nodded, "Just put them on before we left."
Sonya smiled, "Well a spots going to open up in a sec." In a few long legged strides Sonya was at the handicapped spot. She quickly bent down and put her hand under the car and in one quick motion stood up lifting the car completely off the ground and then making only the slightest adjustments lifted it up over her head, walking casually back over to Westner. Westner gestured to the spot grinning, "Looks like there's a free spot now."
Both Mac and Paxton whistled softly before pulling forward and into the spot. Westner looked up at the Car, "So what are you going to do with that?"
Sonya looked up, "I think there is a rooftop parking space up there."
She took flight up to top of a nearby 5th story building and casually dropped the car on it, then gracefully returned to the street grinning at the onlookers stares. "So what shall I do for an encore?"
Westner took her hand, "I can think of a few things, but for now let's join Mac and Paxton and see if we can get a couple of drinks with them."
Sonya nodded, "Sounds like a plan."

Later that night...
'Davie' stumbled down the street his bleached blonde companion helping him along. "Davie, I thought your car was right here."
'Davie' rolled his head up, his speech slurred, "Yeeeah it was right there" he tried to point at the now vacant handicapped spot and ended up pointing everyone but there."
'Davie' fumbled with his pocket and pulled out his phone to see there was a message on it. After a few attempts he managed to open the message.
"Mr. Mortansan, this is Avalon city PD, we found your car on the roof of a building we would like you to come down to the station so we can discuss how to get it down."
The blonde sighed and helped guide 'Davie' down the street and toward the station thinking about how there would definitely not be a second date.
