I pulled this one out of the "archive". Unedited print thats been hiding for about 8 years. The dust and scratches are straight from the negative, and I didnt really want to edit them out.This isn't my greatest photographic work, but it's from the time when I first fell in love with photography. I was just learning my way around the darkroom, the chemicals, but obviously had yet to learn how to take care of my negatives. It's the imperfections that make me love it more.

the lighting is really superb... she's looking at some awesome glowing thing, but she's utterly bored with it... the plant sits in the background... she should turn around and look at the plant instead, maybe she'd be having a better time, yeah?

I disagree with you.. I think this is one of your strongest shots. I like how her elbows are rested on the bottom of the picture's frame, I love the messy hair and the shadows her fists cast across her face. It's just a cute everyday kinda picture. Her facial expression isn't mad, or bored.. It just.. Is. I like it.

Shes beautiful. Its beautiful. Contrast is something I just love and this work is a fine example of that. I agree with you on the imperfections adding something to this. The blurry muted background and the high contrast on the girl make her pop and give a surreal look to this. I'm glad you dug it up and shared it with us.
