Description HA!! Did you think i gave up! Not yet!
The thing is hapenning slowly. The code is cleaner, but still some weird bugs happens. Please report any strange reaction from it. The HUD changed a bit and there will more addition in the future since the super combos isnt implemented.

And attending requests, she now can lift and throw objects. These objects can be cars, containers, bikes, small jets, anything. I am still planning to add hand weapons, objects to be used like a bat(a big baseball bat i mean), like light posts and... er... i should think more about this.

Ah, she need 1 LP(love points... er...) to make the heavy attacks. I noticied they got too strong and the player will, wisely, prefer the heavy strikes than the light strikes.

I believe its close to the big day, where i gonna present a full stage to be played.

Didn't notice anything off or buggy with the pieces you got. Looking good so far, looking forward to the next beta!

Throwing worked, but it barely does any damage, so it's not really useful; if there are a limited number of destructible items to throw (that are lost after thrown) then they should do more damage than a regular attack.

The game locked up once, when I died (as a stick figure? Maybe they were holding me?) and I never came back to life despite having 99 lives left.

Thanks. I gonna check the death script, but i think the problem must be the knockout script.

You are right about the throwing objects, i thought about the object recoiling when hit an enemy, but the objects are really heavy to do this. More Damage looks the right fix for this.

AHH!! Maybe when she jump and throw, the object could be send in a diagonal angle to the ground, this way the object can be recovered and throwed again... GOOD!!

WOW This looks GREAT! It reminds me of Ninja Warriors 2 for the Snes. When this is finished you are going to have one amazing game to show off!

The second time I tried playing, it got stuck. It was working relativly alright then suddenly the character locked as a stick figure and wouldn't move. the enemies are still flailing away but there's no reaction and health is unaffected no matter how many times they flail.

The pose was a stick figure. Since I couldn't see what my character was doing most of the time(due to her constantly turning into a stick figure and back again) I was basically just button mashing the attack keys.

I was jumpin around beatin woody up when they surrounded me and I got stuck in this pose.

Yeah... this is one of the most annoying bugs. It's very tricky. But i already have the solution: new code.

So far so good.

If I could make ojne small suggestion, its have the arrow buttons be the move and up for jump.

Then Ctrl and Alt can be the two attack buttons. Maybe down arrow be block

Well, I don't want to make demands or ask you to do something you don't want to do, mind you. Beggars can't be choosers, as they say.

I only bring it up because it's a fairly common control setup. Keeps the controls close together. Many shooters use a similar setup.

But in the end it's your baby, and I don't wish to overstep my bounds.

No problem, i am not making the game for myself. I need to know what the players like. If the people don't play the game, all my work will be for nothing. So i would like to hear anything you see would improve your experience in this game.

Very good keep at it its a game actually kinda fun when you really think about it... some enemy variety would be nice too even in the early stages to help get you used to producing them.

Thanks. I am still building the enemies IA. I plan to make 4 types of enemies: The tank(agressive, short range, big health), the smart(weak, hit and run), the sniper(long range and nimble) and brawler(mixed stats).

You should add a power up which makes the heroine grow out of her clothes and become unstoppable and indestructible.

This game will not have these kind of FMG. I am thinking something like a lovely magic girl outifit for a super form.

In the other project, earth defenders, i will explore FMG in absurds proportions.

Negative time is amusing...

Pretty cool; maybe add a ducking feature...

I like the special attacks (although losing the line drawings would, yes, be nice). More obvious reaction to getting clonked by the ebil trees would be nice, too (also some nice tree-gets-crushed animations would be very cool).

This is looking seriously awesome! Can hardly wait for the finished product!

I thought in doing a crouch stance for low attacks, but then, the block would be activated by another key and i don't like that. Down seems logical. And she will have some cool evasion moves(And a counter system if everything runs easy).

The evil trees is only for the beta. I think i can start doing some enemies to test some complex routines.

Question:
does the block also defend from behind? And I noticed that when I was blocking from an enemy infront of me I would still take damage....

Yes, you receive damage when blocking, but it's only half. The better way to avoid damage is jumping or evade. The evasion isn't programmed yet.
