It's me again fooling around with animations. This is a character from Kartoon Warz Rebounded, Lyn Manageable. Eh... I am still working at the names.Again, this would be an animation for a fighting RPG game. But there is no game, I am just playing with graphics. Just for fun. This time I used a different style, most used on flash and mobile games. It's a cheap and quick style, but if you know what are you doing, you can obtain some pretty impressive results. Yes, I am talking about Vanillaware games, all of them. It's made of magic.

Yeah, it would. She is one of the few characters who will not grow on the beginning. Mainly because she is already too capable without the extra power. I need to give a chance to ther others characters.

Eu gosto do tipo de animação da Vanillaware, eles fazem um desenho foda e fazem a animação encima de um frame apenas usando destorção. Tem um brasileiro pelo DA que faz isso com os desenhos dele ou de outras pessoas que contratam os serviços dele, fica bem legal.

Tem um programa chamado Spriter que ajuda muito nisso. Mas voce pode fazer num Photoshop também. Mas é preciso mais técnica do que ferramenta. Eu não gosto muito deste estilo de animação, tem jogo que fica tosco com ele, por exemplo Ray Gigant do Vita e a maioria de jogos para celular. Mas a Vanillaware lida com esse estilo muito bem, não fica devendo em nada a poligonos e texturas em alta resolução.
