its getting better, basically the shadow still needs to come in some more. probably use the star's width as a measure of how far to actually come in. but once you've done that, it'll look awsome.

no problem... The question is what EXACTLY needs to be changed? i know the shadow doesn't seem quite right.. but i can't put my finger on it, anyone have ideas to make it look better?

i like it alot, but if you changed one thing, it'd be amazing. notice how the sun is in front of the planet, try darkening the side away from the sun, it'll make it look alot more realistic and it'll bring alot more to this image.

oh yeah, i need to do that, hmm, i wonder why i didn't think about that...i'm glad you brought that up. i should have it edited soon.
