At first, Kaylee was so distant that I could hardly see her, but She moved so goddamn fast. All it took was a few steps and She didn’t feel so distant. A few more, and I was starting to think that I should run…. Only I didn’t know in what direction. She veered from side to side, and it was hard to gauge exactly which way She was going. Some of the neighbors were running away from her, but that didn’t seem like it would help much.
