silence is surrounding me, my breath is frozen.silence is screaming at me, my face is numb.
silence is puling me down, my chest is crushed.
this is a picture of the memorial for the victims of the holocaust in berlin.

okay - this scares me. it's almost surreal, or something [probably how you've captured the light and shadow], but reading the comment, it works really well. it does capture the emotion that a memorial such as this conjures and that's an amazing feat.

Oh, this is really good. The emotion is caught correctly. Eerie, yet calming and peaceful. Not really, when you realize what it was for. Yet, there is a sense of peace because they are laid to rest. I love it! :]

I love the tone of the photo-its very mysterious! I agree with the person above about the symmetry. I think it would look really interesting with either perfect symmetry or at a sharper angle of that makes sense.

I would love to see a version of this place with perfect symmetry, if you catch my drift. The textures and tones are just wonderful, but the assymetry sorta ruins the perfection a bit (for me personally at least).

This is a well captured and poignant photograph on a meaningful subject.
I love how the cloumns all lead down to a single point in the distance and their domineering atmosphere from towering over the viewer.
