Description
I've watched "Monsters vs. Aliens" last weekend and I fell in love with doctor Cockroach. I have a feeling that he had to be very popular with ladies when he was human, I mean - he's charming, intelligent and knows how to dance! What woman (especially in 50s) wouldn't like him?Still, in "BOB's Big Break" there is a scene, when they're trying to hit Monger with pieces of Bob and doctor throws like a guy with anemy. I guess writters had to emphisize the fact that he's a nerd. It seems that his PE classes were rather pathetic.

He has a Ph D in DANCE, not in throwing balls, unfortunately...

Link and Susan obviously gave him lessons. He threw the swirly-pop very well in the Halloween special.

I could imagine Link getting really impatient with him and Susan being much more patient in teaching him.

Especially since she had to learn how to control her strength and body and everything (as well as just naturally being more patient than Link)

I have soft spot for scientists. It doesn't matter if guy is a wacky inventor like Gyro Gearloose and Emmett Brown, or mad scientist like Megamind and Doofenschmirtz. If he has love for his science and (but not nesserily) typical adorkable personality, I love him.
And Doctor Cockroach is also very charming with this big eyes, Brittish accent, not to mention his muostache. I think that many girls out there aren't afraid cockroaches anymore thanks to this guy.

I'm ashamed to say that when I tried to watch MvA for the first time I didn't liked this movie and stoped after some time (bout after backstories of each monsters). Later I've seen Halloween Special and liked the whole "lollipop" subplot. Last weekend the original movie was aired in our TV and I finally watched it to the very end. Every scene with doctor Cockroach was priceless.

I prefer "There is something you don't know about me. I. Have. PhD. In DANCE!" I also love every part when he's running.
Actually I'm amazed that no fanfic writter used the idea of his dancing skills. Maybe I will do something with it but not here.

Hahahaha! Yeah, I guess he improved over the years when he threw the swirlypop in the halloween special.
Still, I don't blame you. I'm head over heels with him, roach or human.
