Not a new photo. It's been in my scraps for months, but I have been told that it has merit and therefor it is now deviation. It's my foot.......it was a really really REALLY loooong summer okay?Related content

this is just what i was hoping for... a good lesson on how to crop a picture containing feet, or rather a single foot... i'm glad that you have examples to back up your words...
next time i photograph my feet and give it a nonsensical title i will keep this in mind... next time i will be sure to leave plenty of negative space, the edge of the other foot in the corner, and definitely i will be sure that the camera is focused on the background rather than the subject but most importantly i will be sure to put as much though and creativity into the title as you have exemplified in this piece

I never claimed that this was a great example of anything. That's why it was in scraps. Although, I would argue that the positive and negative space are approximately balanced.

I found it in the "featured"/ main section of your gallery, not scraps. And that's fine if you think that everything is balanced and good, just don't go leaving comments like you did on pictures no worse than yours. I greatly value constructive criticism, but your comment was just a rude statement about my photography. I am fully aware of the fact that I took an unimaginative picture of my foot and gave it a strange title; you didn't need to reiterate that. I never said it had to make sense to anyone other than myself and I never said that anyone had to find it fascinating or original; I never even said that I found it a particularly good or interesting piecemyself ... And maybe it didn't make sense to you, so if you don't like it just leave it be or tell me how I can improve. Maybe you meant it to be helpful, in which case it wouldn't hurt to concentrate slightly more on the advice and slightly less on the negative.
