Beautiful! Honestly one of the best parts of that episode, besides the part about the author, that is. I feel that Mabel trusting Stan, when all of the others didn't, is a wonderful example of family, even if Stan might not be her actual Grunkle.

Actually Mabel's a far deeper character that you probably shouldn't judge from gifs alone.
Yes she's goofy and silly but she can be serious when she needs to be, she's not some airhead, she's just a girl who tries to look at the bright side of things.

Well Ed was never given a deeper personality other than the dim-witted working horse with an odd view of the world and rarely showing any high-intellectual moments. But he and I could relate with our love for chickens.
