Description
It's been too long since I drew the dino girls (much more update them), so I decided to make a proper reference for one of them: Salina.
NOTE: Do NOT use her without permission NOR copy her!

Name: Salina
Age: Undisclosed (appears to be young adult)
Species: Brachiosaurus (Saurian)
Gender: Female
Height: 7' 04'' (1-foot neck)
Personality: Fun-loving, caring, outgoing, curious
Likes: Seeing baby dinosaurs, exploring, berries (super delicious and make a great dessert), swimming in her secret watering hole
Dislikes: the "bad guys"
Role: Guardian of her home islands, local babysitter

Biography:
Salina is an interesting type of island girl. She was born in a saurian village by a loving mother and a strong father. However, during a fishing trip, a storm rolled in and washed her father's boat out, separating her and her father from her mother. As they drifted away from her home village and closer to a larger island, his father used what strength he had to get them to land. Sadly, along the way, he drowned, but Salina was somehow brought to shore. Sometime after reaching the shore, a herd of brachiosaurs heard her cry and rescued her from the rising tides.

From that point on, she was raised by that same herd in a valley filled with herbivores. She learned how to get food, how to walk, and somehow, how to speak in her own language as well as the feral dinosaur language. Eventually, she met Deino, Para, and the rest of the anthrosaurs in their gang soon after they first discovered the island. From them, she not only learned how to speak English but also learned about the outside world and how much it changed from the dinosaurs' past to the present day. Since then, she's grown a curiosity of all the things she might see in the outside world, therefore joining Deino's team in their adventures.

Some time after, they discovered a smaller island not too far from the island on which they first stood. Salina accompanied them to this island, where they met a saurian tribe upon arrival. When the team was taken to their village, Salina found her mother, who presumed she and her father drowned in the sea. It was then that Salina realized she had found her people. Despite finding her biological mother, however, she had to make a hard decision and return to the main island and the family she always knew but promised she'd come visit soon.

A couple years later, the Saurians decided to expand, sending members of their tribes to the main island to settle there. Salina, along with some other island friends, was then appointed "Island Guardian," helping the tribes come together and build their first settlement on the main island. She still helps out her mainland friends once in a while and even hangs out with them, and because of them, she's become more eager than ever to find out what future adventures lie ahead of her.

ARTIST'S NOTE: In case you didn't know, Salina was a classic OC I first drew in 2012/13. At first, I wanted her to be a normal brachiosaurus at first and then turn into an anthro after coming across a contamination spill somewhere on the island. Looking back at it, however, I came to the conclusion that it wouldn't be possible as the island she's lived on hasn't had human contact for years. I also thought of tying her backstory to another character I had long since forgotten and never drew. I might draw her soon (she's human so it might be a bit difficult) and add some info about Salina in that, too. Till then, this is a majority of Salina's significant life stories.
