Well all It's been awhile since I posted something really intrigueing ^_^;
this is an old sketch as you can see *still in gallery*... but I decided to finalize it at last!
the wings alone took me two weeks of inking and drawing during my lunchbreaks at my occupation.. it seems that has been the only time I have to work on such tedious matters as individual feathers O-o;
as of the finalization!
My character Ryoku was made entirely with *real* media! thats right! I used some friggin pencils for once! XP
and I couldn't have been happier considering all the problems I face when attempting to color something!
the BG was made by manipulateing some pictures I have on my computer and hand-drawing alot of things with my new tablet that im still getting used to!
Please enjoy this pic! I put a great deal of time, effort, and a great deal of myself into createing this!

I've always admired your skill and your time that you put into your pictures. you put your heart and soul into everything that you draw and it shows.
I know your working on revamping your style, but this...this is truly a masterpiece. You have tried to hide how proud you are of this piece, but look at it, bro. its gorgeous, the amount of detail in those wings is amazing, you truly have proven your skill and talent.
I know how much ryoku means to you, and those of us who truly know you for who you are, he has touched a part of us all.

I used a hybrid style to reinforce the coloring I already did... basically I upped the contrast just a little to blend it with the bg ^_-

I guess you found the medium you're most talented at, yush? I can't ever work with real media; I suck at it. But I'm glad you found something to work with that makes your work oh so beautiful.
