Description
Brand new piece commissioned by the music artist epsilon-blue. I really enjoyed doing this piece, it's been such a long time since I did an animation that was strictly about animated typography. Originally I had only planned to spend three weeks getting this done in a very straight-forward way, but new ideas kept popping up, and epsilon-blue and I kept refining things, so that it took three months in the end.Completely designed and animated in After Effects.

amazing, i agree with all statements! in addition to this i have a question, how did you put the music in after effects? if i do this AE plays no music .. idk what to do! you used an another extern program so sync music and AE?

Thanks! You can definitely put music into AE, but you'll only hear it when you do RAM previews, or if you hold down CTRL (PC)/Command (Mac) and drag along the timeline. When you've got lots of layers, like this video, sync can get really tedious, so you learn to work with only the layers you need. Hope that helps!

Just asking, what program do you use to make your animations? I want to make my own animations.... But I don't know what program to buy...

A combination of Maya (for the 3D stuff) and Adobe After Effects (for 2D stuff and finishing). I know maya has a free/cheap learning edition that you can download. Also, I hear Blender is getting better and better, and it's open-source and free!
