When I first saw this movie as a kid, I really liked it and I still like it to this day.
But geez! The Pixar fandom always slander this movie for being a cash grab/worthless sequel, and I still don't understand the hate.

You wanna know the real reason why they made this movie? Because director John Lasseter really liked spy movies and was originally going to sneak one in the first film and while he was traveling around the world doing press screenings for it. He wonders what happen if Lightning and Mater found themselves in the same settings, he was in.

I think Cars 2 gets MORE hate than Turning Red and Lightyear combined, and it doesn't deserve it.
