Since I just did one for Celia Rhodes, I thought it was only fair that I do one for her toony alter too, because let's face it; SHE'S the one between them who will get all the faves at the end of the day!

I'll admit that I had many inspirations for Silly Road. In an alternate universe, she could easily pass herself off as being the daughter of everyone's favorite white toon rabbit in red overalls, and that one lady who "isn't bad, but just drawn that way"!

But I digress, in this day and age, I want my OCs to have as little to do with "The Mouse's Magical Kingdom" as possible, what with all the controversey surrounding the dying corporate giant. I won't even say their name. If you know, then you know.

The unpleasantness surrounding said company was one of the reasons I've been doing much less toon content lately! -_-

So Alex and Doc, if you're reading this right now, I hope you can forgive me for being less than enthusiastic to work on many more toony side-projects. Blame the Mouse!

Still, Silly Road is my creation. 100% originally mine. So really, I shouldn't have a problem making more art of her and the many others I've come up with over the years. I'm sorry. What's happening in the real world should be no excuse for my poor production rate.

What Silly Road represents to me more than anything else, is the idea of toony freedom and fun. Yes, she's crazy, but she's intelligent enough to the point where she's fully aware of all the sickness of heart that has infected the masses. Celia Rhodes always wanted to be a doctor, and Silly Road expands upon this desire, taking it to the extreme. She desires to heal hearts and minds, and to obtain world peace and happiness. She believes that the way to do that is to toon every living human.

However as time goes on and her mission to recover the paint draws out, it becomes clear to her that not every human being deserves to be a toon, and this is a reality that she must come to grips with, that despite her best intentions, there will always be rotten people who just want to watch the world burn - such people she won't toon!

I remember I had planned how this whole series would play out in the end, and I wonder; is it okay to just tell you all what I had in mind, since I might never get there at my sluggish rate?

I wish I was faster! Sure, I've gotten faster at single figure drawing, but comic pages are still hard, and poses are even harder! Though whether I'm working on my original content, or my fanfics, these are skills as an artist I must learn to master. -_-
