Photoshop! : ) Many pixel artist say "yeah I only use paint" blah blah, but in the end photoshop offers the same stuff plus some time-saving tricks!

Haha, agreed! So many people give me repulsed looks when I tell them I use photoshop for pixel art, but let's face it - it works, and often a lot better.
