I really don't have any explanation for this piece...I was originally working on a picture of Loki and it turned into this XDI guess I just really liked the idea of Ariel being a bit disappointed to come up to the typical bright and sunny human world only to find it dark and dreary one day.

THIS IS SO STUNNING!!!!!!! There is no measurement to how brilliantly you draw - it takes my breath away every.single. time.The rain looks so realistic and I love the glow her skin has.... and I love how her tail has this ever so fain print of fish scales on it. Her hair is this BEAUTIFUL tone of red and herface looks so cute and saf at th same time!!! I ADORE THIS!!!! SO BEAUTIFUUL

Everything is great! I love the way the hair flows in the wind, how realistic the rain is, how the water affects her, tail, great look! The only thing I would change, is her facial expression, I thinks it's too dramatic and cartoon-y if that makes sense, but overall Great piece of work!

Yeah, I was actually debating for a while to go with a more realistic face for her on this, but decided to keep it simplistic because I didn't feel the rest of it was realistic enough to give her a super realistic face. But other than that I'm glad you like it ^.^
