It's been like this since the Cold War, even more so since the 9/11 attacks. Rich trash have always walked over everyone else...

As an American, this is fairly accurate. In short, capitalism ruins everything, especially in American politics.

Funny thing is, apple pie is German. It was brought to Philadelphia by German immigrants, and spread from that point outward into the nation.

Oh, and baseball is just a byproduct of the British game Cricket.

Precisely. Why else is there a city in Germany named Hamburg?

But then, melting pot. Maybe more importantly the common British-German grudge against Catholics.

Of course it's a melting pot, that's the whole point. Nothing in America is "100% American", if you really think about it. This is a nation of immigrants, and always has been from the start.

Except for things like the Airplane, Computers(all incarnations up to the microchip), railroad, mass production, landing on the (manned)moon/mars(unmanned).

The Wright Brothers didn't actually invent the first functional airplane. That credit goes to Brazilian inventor Alberto Santos Dumont.

The first computer was invented by British mathematician/engineer Alan Turing, originally designed as a super-powerful decoding machine to decode encrypted Nazi messages in World War 2.

The first railroads were built between Liverpool and Manchester, both provinces of England, in 1825 by George Stephenson.

Mass production and other key elements of the Industrial Revolution originated in England as early as 1760, back when the American colonies still largely depended on agriculture as its primary source of commerce.

The USSR has many more accolades in first achievements in the Space Race than the US does, including first man in space, first woman in space, first dog in space, first satellite in space, the list goes on. The US only has two measly little first achievements in comparison.

America is a fucking joke, and that's especially reflected now by the orange-tinted clown these shitheads elected to be their goddamn president.
