It totally makes sense, dear. I like how the colors are a golden type. It reminds me of Queen Elizabeth and its elegance of her time. Also, the neck piece does show pride, for the women who'll be wearing it might be too full of herself. Also, the buttons add an urban, modern look, so we can still have some old and new.
I also enjoy how the gold fades into darkness in the dress. This is a very lovely piece.
