I positively love this! I can imagine the teacher being cool and confident in her superiority over a mere school girl before this, the shock and disbelief in her eyes as she's overpowered and bound by force, and finally now, with this beautiful illustration, I can see the shame in her face as her pupil has her as a bound and gagged plaything suspended from the ceiling!
I wonder, will the student leave her bound and gagged, suspended in middle of the school to serve as a warning to the other teachers about overstepping their power?
And what, I must wonder, did the poor teacher try to do in the first place? Assign a few too many papers, or issue too many detentions? This is a suitable punishment for such things from a student's perspective, I suppose, but a harsh and humiliating one from mine!

I think leaving her there would be the right measure, it's meant to be not only a lesson learned for this particular teacher, but also the other authoritarians who tend to get carried away with their power.Β
The event that led to this, in this particular scenario, is that the student Miumi-U accidentally dropped her stuff while passing the otherwise quiet office. Miss Gorgone was irritated by the startling noise and warned the student for her careless behaviour.
But the backstory can be completely rewritten, and there's never a lack of the people who are so sure about their power and their inferior's position as well as fear for the power, that they take it too far when executing what they thought was right. If that's the case, I'd change the bound position too. While the severely bent and hanging is very punishing physically, I would rig the authority figure in a more revealing and embarrassing pose. Leaving her ample time throughout the night to think it through where was the line, and to anticipate the inevitable discovery and rescue.Β

I imagine that when Ms. Gorgone is discovered in the morning, she won't be a just a warning to authoritarian teachers and school officials though, but also a symbol of inspiration for students! The next time a teacher oversteps her bounds, I'm sure there will be whispers and passed notes about what happened to Ms. Gorgone, and if they should carry out something similar...
I'm curious though, as to what you might mean when you mention a "more revealing and embarrassing pose." While she still has her blouse on, I have difficulty imagining what sort of position might humiliate the poor teacher even more than her current one. Were you envisioning taking her down from her suspension at all, or keeping her in the air?

I've been meaning to reply, But I think the best way to address your question,is with another painting.
Personally I am not a fan of suspension, I much prefer using chair to create some position that are highly amusing to the students and extremely dreadful and embarrassing to the teacher. Having said that, suspension may be a good choice if it was meant to be a student art project.

As far as chairs and bondage go, I do agree that they are excellent props and offer up a number of opportunities to inflict horror and humiliation.
I'm surprised to hear you're not so much of a fan of suspension though - why is that?
And in spite of your feelings about suspensions in general, I'm glad you've brought up the idea of a student art project! I'm just imagining an uprising of sorts at a prestigious finishing school or some such thing, with the students overpowering their teachers and the head mistress, leaving them suspended and gagged in an "art display" for the duration of a visit by the students' parents. The parents would be surprised, of course, but would have no reason to suspect anything - it's not as though the teachers would be able to explain what's really happened, after all!
